Forestry Commission layby off a minor road south of the A830. Follow signs for Borrodale. Fits 6 cars. The woodland path begins through the kissing gate at the north end of the layby.

Where to stand:Walk into the woodland and find a clearing where the railway track is visible through the trees. The best shots use the tree trunks as natural framing elements. Position yourself slightly above track level if possible.
